From October 14th to 16th, 2025, the GS1 Nigeria Healthcare Team conducted a training for Juhel Nigeria Ltd on GS1 Standards, GS1 Healthcare, traceability, and regulatory development.

The sessions, held in Enugu and Awka, focused on strengthening Juhel’s understanding of global standards and their application in improving supply chain visibility and patient safety.

As part of the engagement, the team visited Juhel’s production facility to provide hands-on guidance and recommendations on best practices for effective implementation.

Also in attendance was ADSOFUN, GS1 Nigeria’s hardware solution provider, who demonstrated GS1-enabled tools and technologies supporting traceability and compliance.

The GS1 Nigeria Healthcare Team remains open to collaborating with pharmaceutical companies across Nigeria to support their traceability implementation journey, ensuring alignment with global standards and regulatory expectations.

This initiative reinforces GS1 Nigeria’s commitment to advancing healthcare efficiency and regulatory alignment through industry collaboration and capacity building.
